Barry interviews Samuel Warren Joseph, an accomplished screenwriter, film director and playwright. He wrote and directed the 2015 dark comedy /thriller “Window of Opportunity” windowofopportunitythefilm.com, (produced by the Doors’ drummer John Densmore) about corporate greed. The following year saw production of his play “Moral Imperative” about morality and murder in academia. His play “God Help Us”, starring Ed Asher, is currently touring the US. www.godhelpus.net HIs latest work, “American Paradox” is nearing completion. Sam is also a college writing professor and in this episode explores mixing ideology with art, why Americans are becoming more tribal and what role writers can play in shaping public attitudes
