In segment one, Barry Lynn interviews NYC comic Irene Bremis who happens to be a kickboxer. Her comedy is what she politely refers to as "comedy noir". Accused of being "unlady like," Irene retorts with "my mother didn't raise me to be polite, she raised me to be right! I ain't no lady but I'm a hellava gal! "She is dauntless with a flair for rebellion which she attributes to being a sagittarius. Her comedy is a compellation of her Greek upbringing with an autistic brother, political & topical satire, gossip, rants, very intimate details of her personal life and everyday observational humor. If you're thinking it...she says it, AND gets away with it.
Irene performs regularly at comedy clubs in the New York area and has been featured on Tru TV. She is a regular co-host of John Fuegelsang's "Tell Me Everything" on Sirius/XM (Channel 121) and does her own broadcast "Scuttle Butt" on BBOX Radio Tuesdays from 6:30-7:30 (and found on "Tune In"). She will be taping a show with John Fuegelsang at the Duplex Theater on November 28 at 7pm.
In segment one, Barry and Irene explore the results of the midterm elections, including their favorite victors and losers as well as the longterm effect on the Trump agenda.
